Project Site and Study Area
The Project Site is the area proposed to be Licensed under the Aggregate Resources Act and the internal driveway that provides access from Twiss Road to the proposed License.
The Study Area is a broader area which encompasses the identified project alternatives and the geographic extent of potential environmental effects. The Study Area includes the Project Site, all lands within 500 m of the Project Site, and properties that have frontage along potential Haul Routes. The Reid Side Road Haul Route is included within the Study Area as the Haul Route that was identified as part of the 2019 Aggregate Resources Act Licence Application and is the Original Proposed Haul Route. Through the EA process, alternative haul route options will be evaluated within the Study Area.
